First Degree Fitness Fluid Rowers are the closest thing to the actual rowing experience so that alignment makes indoor rowing and training almost as much fun as the real thing. Rowing offers one of the best whole body workouts. Our unique fluid system sustains participation and moves rowing from a secondary to a primary fitness option.

First Degree Fitness was founded in 2000 and is from Australian origin. Their primary goal is offering the commercial fitness industry a new range of equipment that combined robustness with simplicity, but above all gave users of all ages and body types the ability to enjoy a perfectly tailored workout, with all the fitness benefits that accrue as a result.

EUROPEAN HEADQUARTER
To ensure the best possible service and distribution in Europe, in 2006 they established a regional office, First Degree Fitness Europe BV, located in the Netherlands. With staff dedicated to meeting every requirement of their retailers network, they can now offer you the highest standard of product availebility, spare parts, service and information. Their aim is to become the benchmark for service, against which other companies are judged.

WHY FLUID TECHNOLOGY?
It was because their design team knew and understood the unique resistance properties of water that they believed they could use these at the centre of a superior new product range for the fitness industry. Their patented "Fluid Technology" water resistance system was designed to offer 20 levels of resistance, from "feather light" to "Olympic sprint", all at the touch of a lever. This system, which has always been subject to continuous improvement, is at the core of their original three models. During 2006 they responded to market demands with the release of our two new compact rowers, which have a modified 16 level resistance system, using gearing to still give a fully effective range.

With three of their five products being rowers, it has been asked whether they are just a rowing machine company. Well, they consider that they are first and foremost a fitness equipment company, but they know and understand the benefits of rowing as the best total body aerobic exercise available, and very purposefully chose to make a rower their flagship product. They even employ a professional rowing coach as an advisor on product development and applications.
